The Queen Studio with Private Bathroom offers a warm and comfortable ambiance for a restful stay. The coffee options include ground and instant, which exceeded expectations.

Hot water issues marred the experience—a sudden cold shower made for a frustrating finish to a wash. Additionally, the bathroom could use hooks for hanging clothing and toiletries, and the Porter's tea didn't do it for me. a better English breakfast option would be welcome.

i was expecting some kind of special treatment, but instead had a cold shower halfway through and staff couldn’t care less. oh, and don’t get me started on the milk in tiny containers—no way to check freshness! i almost gave a glowing review but just couldn't, given such major inconveniences, truly disappointing.

lovely staff

It was just a fitting option for a brief pit stop in Christchurch with great value for money. The staff were absolutely lovely, making my experience much nicer. Parking might be a bit tricky, so arrive early to find a good spot.
